Welcome to San Joaquin Watershed.com, the home page of the E. San Joaquin Water Quality Framework!
The San Joaquin River is the lifeblood of California’s Central Valley, which produces nearly a quarter of the nation’s agricultural goods. Over time, as people have modified the river and impacted the watershed, the San Joaquin River has changed dramatically, both in terms of flow and in terms of the quality of the water.
The East San Joaquin Water Quality Framework is a voluntary association of local agencies and groups that have an interest in water quality in the San Joaquin River Watershed, in particular the eastside tributaries (View the San Joaquin River
Watershed and the Framework area).
Together, the members are working to coordinate water quality monitoring and the implementation of best management practices to improve the quality of the river’s water.
